  1. My search is for my biological father. Foud years ago I launched a search and found my birthmother. I now know just about everything there is to know about her family’s heritage. I know her address/phone, her brother and sisters information, her deceased parents info, her other children, and so on. We are only in contact by email since she still keeps me a closely guarded secret. I have not contacted any members of her family.

Though she reveals informatin about her family, when it comes to my birthfather she is tightlipped and has told me nothing about their relationship, how I came to be (although I know I was the result of her affair with him), how she met him, or whether or not he knows about me. She did reluctantly tell me his first and last name. I am pretty certain that I know the town he was living in at the time of my conception, I have a non-identifying letter that tells some details about him, and a social worker familiar with the letter hinted that I might start my search with textile mills in this area (Charlotte, NC) since he was a “union leader in a factory”. By the way, I am one of those people who ended up in the “backyard” of my birthmom. What I mean by that is that I was relinquished in southern California. The ironic path of my life led me to come to live in the Charlotte, NC area. Though she left me all the way across the country many years ago, my birthmother lives 30 miles from me! I am also certain that this is exactly where my birthfather comes from also. The name she gave me is like billboard prominent in the town in which I live. The coincidence is remarkable. I feel that I have been pulled or brought here for the reason of finding out. My story is fascinating (I think) because it involves a Revolutionary War Hessian soldier who deserted and the gold rush here in NC …maybe you would like to hear it and may be able to help me?

  2. Any advice on how to find a birth mother without a first name? We have the information on her family, like 3 sisters, & mother and fathers nationality. We have the adoption decree and birth certificate with her first name missing. We have the legal name before adopted and a birth certificate number.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

  3. I am looking for a sibling that was born may 8, 1978. In or around the st.louis area. If you match this description please try to contact me. thank you
