i m hoping u could help me to find my real father to belive me that im his daughter. i had rough time with my adoption dad.. i tried to call him numbers of times to help me.. i have alot of information about my birth family. i lived next door to my aunt and uncle emmet bates from thicket street in south weymouth mass. my great grandparents were beatrice and jasper huntington. i have been told that my maternal grandmothers name was doris huntington. i was born on november 21,1965 at shouth shore hospital in south weymouth mass. i have health problems and i believe that finding this family could answer questions related to this. any info would be helpful.

I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer and want to reunite with him before I begin the treatments. I don’t have much money to hire a private investigator and I am an only child. Hello Adrianne. We conducted a nationwide search for your father, Charles L. Hamilton, and developed only one viable match. We regret to inform you that the person we found has passed away.

The date of birth that you supplied is slightly different from the one belonging to this deceased person, however, we think this is a likely match.

Date of Birth: 2/21/1931
Date of Death: 1/18/07
Last Known Address: 2007 NE 33rd Ave., #1, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Charles’ prior addresses were nearly all in Maryland in the cities of Lexington Park, MD and California, MD.

Once again, we are sorry to inform you that he is deceased, but we hope you have some closure from this information.

Hi, I am trying to find my birthfather. I was adopted when I was 8wks old from a Jewish adoption agency. My birth father is Jewish and my birth mother is Chaldean. They were both juniors in high school when I was born. This is about all the information I have of them. I tried to contact my birth mother when I was 17 or 18 years old but because of certain circumstances she could not have anything to do with me. Now that I am going to be 30 years old I would like to try and contact my birth father and face the fear of denial I have had for all of these years.

I found my birthmother 7 years ago, she told me that my birthfathers name is Mark Petrie and that he lived in San Carlos, CA or Belmont, CA around 1974, said that his parents hated her and that he was thinking about koining the military. She refused me and other info and may have lied about everything. She never told him she was pregnant.

He was born 1956 or before.
I have a picture…not that it does any good.

I would appreciate ANY help.

I long to find the last piece of my puzzle, my birthfather.

Hi Kat. We believe we have found a very likely match for your birth father–Mark Petrie. The person that we located has lived about 50 miles south of Belmont and San Carlos since the early 1980’s and is 52 years old. We will email our findings to you.

I’m looking for a girl born July 21, 1965 in Burlington, VT. Her birth mom named her Darlene Miller. The birth mom remembers hearing a baby cry and when asked to see the child the hospital told her the baby was still born. She never got to see the baby. The biological father signed papers and he doesn’t know what they were or can he answer any question for he passed away 8 years ago. The local city hall has record of 2 births that day 1 boy and 1 girl and the girl was adopted. Birth mom has no death certificate and the doctors office burnt to the ground 1 year later along with all records. Birth mom heard a lot of stories about the doctor selling babies after this all happenend. Birth mom had a son 1 year later and the doctor tried to tell her this was her first child when she knew it was her second.

Hi Lorie. Thanks for writing us at The Search Advisor.

Unfortunately, there is no quick way to determine if your brother was adopted out, and in this particular instance, there is not much search advice we can give you to conduct a search on your own. Why? Because you have no information about the circumstances of the adoption and are not even certain that your brother was indeed adopted.

However, a search of this type can definitely be successfully completed. Here’s how our parent company, OmniTrace, would approach this…

We have a source / researcher in Ohio who has the capability of searching for original birth records. Once she locates your brother’s original record, she can use information off the original records to locate your brother’s amended record / adopted record. Then she would provide us your birth brother’s adopted name and information on the adoptive parents and a search of our databases would do the rest.

One caveat, if your birth brother was not legally adopted, there may not be an amended record of him. Then the chance of locating him would greatly decrease (since we don’t have a date of birth).

I am searching for my birth parents and a sibling who may be a twin or an older sibling. I was born at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago on April 10, 1952. My mother is listed as 25 years old at the time of my birth. So she would have been born in 1926 or 1927. There was one other living child listed on the non-identifying info from my original birth certificate. I was born as Carmeline Hadsall. My birth mother’s name is Geraldine Hadsall. I was placed for adoption through an attorney’s office in Wheaton, IL. The adoption notice was placed in the DuPage County Illinois newspapers. There is no information on the birth father. Also no clear info on whether my birth mother was married, single or divorced or widowed. Have searched many geneology records and have obtained some adoption records, but still cannot find sibling or birth mother. Please help. My adopted parents are deceased and I have NO FAMILY. If you are a sibling who knows of an adoption during this time period in Chicago or DuPage County IL. Please leave a post. Thank You.

My birth name is Kathy and I believe my surname was Crabill.
I was born February 7, 1957 in Montgomery County Maryland and was
put up for adoption as a very young child age 5 to 6 (?)
My adoptive family also lived in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Health Department took care of the adoption. I had checked with them back in the early 80’s but they would not give me any information concerning my birth parents. MCHD told me that my birth family had not contact them since I was adopted.
I think my father and perhaps some of the other men in my family worked for the fire department (maybe in Tacoma Park).

He was living in Silver Springs MD - working at a Safeway and attending college nearby (1968 & 69). His family was also from that area. My mother got pregnant & then moved back to NY to be by her family. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Blessings to All!

Hi Debbie. Our research department has conducted some preliminary searching for your birth mother, Jean, and her brother William without obtaining any viable matches.

The date of birth of your birth mother (12/1/1941) you supplied us does not add up if you were born on 4/1/1963 and your birth mother was 20 at the time. That would make her year of birth: 1942.

Can you please verify the information you provided us? Do you have any idea the years she was in Florida?

I am looking for my Daughters Birth Father. It has been like trying to find a needle deep in a hay stack. His name is David Allen ( Wayne) Hall, he also know by the name of Turkey Dave. We met in Amarillo in 1977 and my daughter was born in 1978. I have no iformation I can give on him as it was 30 years ago for me and I just cannot remeber allot. Not details any way.

We searched through California records and it appears your birth name was Diana M. Dewig. It also appears that your birth mother’s maiden name was Mahoney. Knowing that your birth mother’s first name was Peggy and that she was likely born in 1953 allowed us to use our databases to obtain her current, married name, address and phone number. Yay! We’ll email your results right away.

Hi Debbie. We were aware that the phone number might not be good. Unfortunately, there is no other phone information available on your birth mother and family. It’s possible they use a cell phone number which is not showing in our databases.

Michael and Barbara Zwart own the address we sent you, so you should be able to contact your birth mother by mail. Don’t forget to put “personal and confidential” on the envelope beneath the address info.

Hi CJ. Is that all the information you have on your birth mother (your son’s grandmother)?

If that is the case, it will be tough finding her on your own. Why? Her name is too common to work with without having additional background information on her.

We suggest that you first sign up with all the major registries like isrr.org and adoption.com to see if your birth mother is looking for you. We also suggest that you obtain non-identifying information on her. (Please read our posts on what non-identifying is and how to obtain it.)

You can also contact our parent company: http://www.omnitrace.com - 888-965-6696, who have proprietary resources, contacts and databases to find her. There are additional programs (a fee is required) in Washington State that might be of assistance to you. You can visit WARM at: http://www.warmsearch.org/.

Hi. CF. Now we understand what the deal is here.

Perhaps your best bet will be to contact WARM. They’ll be able to tell you if you can initiate a search through their program on behalf of your son (it may require your former husband’s cooperation; we are not sure). Their program involves using confidential intermediaries. If they accept your case, an intermediary will be assigned to obtain the adoption files from the court and then find and contact the birth grandmother on your behalf. They’ll provide you the birth grandmother’s contact information if, and this is always a big if, the birth grandmother agrees to contact. If she doesn’t agree, then they won’t provide you any contact information.

We believe WARM charges a fee around $300 to $500 but you’ll have to verify that with them.

You can still go to various registries and sign up with them to see if the birth grandmother is looking for her birth son. We’ll be posting a lot of information on registries in future posts and will also be providing a free registry service on this website. For now, just go to google.com and type in: “adoption reunion registry.” You’ll get tons of information.

Your other option is to hire a professional search company to investigate and pursue all leads in finding the birth grandmother. Of course, we recommend our parent company: http://www.omnitrace.com. Hi, I am trying to help my mother in law look for her birth parents. I know she was born September 15. 1952 in illinois. She was stolen from her babysitters home as a small child. Her birth certificate was altered and her last name was changed to match the mother who stole her. Her name is Frances ann, and she believes her birth last name was either johnson or johnston (not sure of the spelling). This is the only information i have. if you could help or know of anyone else i could try it would be appreciated. thank you

I was wondering if you could help me. I have been searching the internet for a way to help my boyfriend find his father. He hasn’t seen him since he was 2, and really wants to find him. The man’s name is William Ray Rodenbaugh. He was incarcerated when my boyfriend, Billy jr, was young, and was released years ago. He just wants to try and find him, and if not him, his parole officer to just give his father his information, so maybe his dad can call him. Billy is now 22 years old, and does not even know his ftaher, who Billy is told looks just like him. I know that this would mean the absolute WORLD to Billy, and I would appreciate the assistance in finding this man. If additional information is needed ofr the search, I can try my best to produce it. Thank you so much!

Hi Nikki. Can you tell us how old you think William is? An exact date of birth would be even better. Where was William born? Where was he last residing? Where was he incarcerated?

Any other identifying information on him such as his parent’s names, where they resided, how old were they will be helpful.

im sorry i forgot to put my moms maiden name… the name on her birth certificate is bonnie andrea weisel. we know she was adopted but we think it might be illegal or something because her parents never really talked to her about it but her aunt slipped one day and mentioned it. but her birth certificate says her adoptive parents names but are spelled wrong and think it might be fake.

also one of my goods friends’ aunt has been missing since October 23, 1985 from San Diego, California and classified as an endangered missing. she was born October 23, 1966. her real name is Mary Colette Rawlinson. but also uses the aliases of Rita Elizabeth Price or Elizabeth Rita Rawlinson. if you find any info please let me know.

Hi,I am looking for my brother,the only info I have is that he was born around 1967,and his name is James David Ward,and his moms name was Rebecca Holt ( not sure about the last name) but his dad was my dad,Arthur JAmes ( A J ) Ward. My parents married in 1974 so he had to have been born between then and 1967. Our dad passed away and he had been searching for him for years,and I would like to find him for my dad.
